General Warranty and Product Fault Information
- Faults and defects caused due to manufacturing or material defects and design faults.
What’s not covered under warranty?
- Damage caused by accident, abuse (improper use), neglect, normal wear, stunt riding, commercial use, rental use, improper assembly, improper fit, maintenance and/or assembly.
- Labour costs involved.
- Items outside of their warranty period.
- Pre-owned items (warranties are not transferable - only the original purchaser is entitled to the warranty).
How long is my product’s warranty?
- Your product will have a warranty period that lasts 12 months
As a guideline ( excludes damage by human cause) :
- 12 months warranty to the factory defect of the body frame including Structural Frame.
The Handlebar/headset/fork are not classified as any parts of body frame in this section.
- 12 months warranty to the malfunction of the battery, charger and motor hub.
But the warranty does not cover the deterioration of battery performance.
Decorative Cover : Tyres, Brake pads/cables, Spokes and Wheel sets are not covered under any warranty.
Warranty claims are excluded in the cases of:
- Excessive environmental influences (humidity, heat, over-voltage, dust, etc.)
- Minor scratches, marks or imperfections which do not significantly impact the performance and safety of the product
- Damage due to external causes including negligent use, incorrect use, damage through malice, and tampering with the battery pack and damage by accidents
- Any sign of water ingress into any part of the bike
- The tamper-proof seal in the control panel is broken
- Poor maintenance and any modifications to the product or components
- Normal wear and tear
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a warranty repair or replacement. The sales receipt for the product must be provided asaproof of purchase when a warranty claim is made. The warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original purchaser of the product. The warranty only applies to products purchased through EBIKE100 or EBIKES VICTORIA. Any approved warranty work must be completed by EBIKE100 or EBIKES VICTORIA. To the extent that any conditions or warranty implied by law is excludable, such a condition or warranty is excluded.
